Meringue En Ananas

Ingredients

Directions

The book gives no oven temperature. The 300°F (150°C) in the steps was added when the recipe was transcribed, as a starting point.

  1. Prepare the meringue by mixing sugar with liqueurs and double cream.

  2. Shape the meringue into a pineapple form, ensuring even points.

  3. Bake in a slow oven at 300°F (150°C) until lightly colored.

  4. Remove from the oven and cool while rotating to dry the glaze.

  5. Once cooled, cut the string around the meringue to remove it from the mold.

  6. Place the meringue upright on a wooden base covered with paper.

  7. Insert a wooden dowel into the center for stability.

  8. Decorate the top with a sugar pom-pom.
