What each ingredient does

Steak
Provides the protein and beefy flavor that make up the tea.
Hot water
Dissolves the dried beef powder and carries its flavor into a drinkable liquid.

The step that matters

Drying the cubes until hard. The beef must be dried fully so it grinds into a fine powder and dissolves well in hot water. Moisture left in the meat can spoil during the long drying time and makes grinding difficult.
