What each ingredient does

Grapes
Provide the flavor and juice that make up the drink.
Sugar
Adds sweetness and balances the tartness of the grape juice.

The step that matters

Let the juice drain without squeezing. Pressing the bag pushes fine pulp and solids through the cloth, which makes the juice cloudy. Slow draining gives a clearer result.
