Baked Fish

Ingredients

Directions

The book gives no oven temperature. The 350°F (175°C) in the steps was added when the recipe was transcribed, as a starting point.

  1. Clean the fish thoroughly.

  2. Sprinkle coarse sea salt over the fish and let it sit for about 1 hour.

  3. Rinse the fish under cold water.

  4. Prepare a dressing by mixing bread crumbs, coarse sea salt, and black pepper.

  5. Stuff the fish with the dressing and place it in a baking dish.

  6. Bake in a moderate oven at 350°F (175°C) until cooked through.
