To Make Tea

Ingredients

Directions

The book gives no oven temperature. The 400°F (200°C) in the steps was added when the recipe was transcribed, as a starting point.

  1. Place tea in a clean, dry teapot 10-15 minutes before use.

  2. Warm the teapot and tea by placing them in a 400°F (200°C) oven or near the fire.

  3. Fill the teapot with boiling water.

  4. Let it stand for 5 minutes before serving.
