Custard Cups
Ingredients
Directions
Fill custard cups with the custard mixture and cover them.
Place the cups in a Dutch oven with water, ensuring the water does not risk boiling into the cups.
Do not cover the top of the oven.
Boil the water for 10 to 15 minutes.
Check a cup; if the custard has a jelly-like consistency, it is done.
Serve the custards in the cups with the covers on and a teaspoon between each cup.
Grate nutmeg on top when cold.
