To Make Tea

Ingredients

Directions

The book gives no cooking times; the times in the steps were added in transcription, so check for doneness rather than trusting the clock.

  1. Scald the teapot with boiling water and keep it hot.

  2. Add tea leaves to the pot and pour boiling water over them.

  3. Let the tea steep for 10 to 12 minutes.

  4. Fill the pot with more boiling water as needed.

  5. Serve the tea without milk or sugar.
