Horse Condition Powder

Ingredients

Directions

  1. Grind all ingredients into a fine powder using a mortar.

  2. Mix well in a large mortar; sieving is not necessary if resin and saltpetre are finely powdered.

  3. Store in one-pound tins wrapped in blue paper, labeled 'horse condition powder'.

  4. For use, mix one or two tablespoons with the horse's food every night and morning for a week or two, then once a day.
