English Walnut Scent-cases
Ingredients
Directions
Cut a silk bag measuring 3.5 inches square.
Fill the bag with cotton wool sprinkled with 1 teaspoon of sachet powder.
Carefully halve the walnuts and make holes at the top and bottom of each half using a heated hairpin.
Varnish the walnut halves and let them dry in a warm place.
Once dry, sew the walnut halves onto the bag at equal distances, points facing down.
Sew a tiny bow above each walnut and another at the bottom of the bag, gathering it with a thread.
Wrap a ribbon around the mouth of the bag and tie it into a bow.
