Ingredients

Directions

The book gives no oven temperature. The 350°F (175°C) in the steps was added when the recipe was transcribed, as a starting point.

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).

  2. Line a high round mold with pastafrolle paste and fill it with bran to maintain its shape while baking.

  3. Bake until dry and slightly baked, then remove from the mold.

  4. Attach the cylindrical shape to a flat circular base using royal icing.

  5. Stick clusters of filberts in circular rows around the sides, ensuring the base angles fit together.

  6. Insert pointed lozenges of green angelica between each cluster.

  7. Decorate the top and base with caramel fruit or sugar.

  8. Fill the basket with flavored whipped cream and whole strawberries, or fruit water ices, or any kind of cream ice.
