To Colour Nonpareils

Ingredients

Directions

  1. Prepare your colors in separate pots.

  2. Take syrup boiled to a thread.

  3. Divide the nonpareils, using double the quantity of white nonpareils compared to other colors.

  4. Warm one portion of nonpareils in a pan.

  5. Pour your color onto the warm nonpareils and stir until they are well separated.

  6. Place them in the stove to dry, ensuring the surface is only wet with color.

  7. Dry them just long enough to set, avoiding too much heat to prevent fading.
