Fruit in Gum Paste
Ingredients
Directions
Make plaster moulds from fine fruit.
Color your gum paste to match the fruit's ground color.
Roll the paste to ¼ inch thick and apply it inside the mould.
Dust the mould with starch powder to prevent sticking.
Once nearly dry, join the two sides of the fruit with diluted paste.
When completely dry, smooth the edges with a fine file.
Polish with paper and apply dry color using cotton.
