Almonds with Vanilla

Ingredients

Directions

  1. Infuse almonds in water to penetrate them.

  2. Soak almonds in spirit for two weeks, corking the container to prevent evaporation.

  3. Remove almonds, drain, and dry them in the stove.

  4. When dry, mix 2 ounces of pounded vanilla with sugar and sift through a silk sieve.

  5. Combine this mixture with the syrup for coating the almonds.
