To Preserve Yeast
Ingredients
Directions
Whisk the yeast until thin.
Spread a thin layer of yeast on a clean, dry wooden dish.
Cover the yeast with the dish upside down to keep out dust but allow air.
Once the first layer is dry, add another layer and repeat until thick (2-3 inches).
Store the dried yeast in dry tin canisters.
To use, cut a piece and dissolve it in warm water.
