  1. Make a batch of chocolate pure-cream caramels and spread it out thin.

  2. Melt bonbon cream, flavor it with vanilla, and spread it evenly over the caramels.

  3. Once it sets, use a heavy rolling pin to roll it smooth to prevent it from becoming hard and crumbly.

  4. Make a batch of vanilla caramels and spread it out the same way as the chocolate batch.

  5. When cold, dampen the vanilla caramels by rubbing a damp cloth over them and lay them damp side down over the cream.

  6. Press it smooth and cut when cold.
