Maple Walnut Fudge

Ingredients

Directions

The book gives no oven temperature. The 236°F in the steps was added when the recipe was transcribed, as a starting point.

  1. In a large pot, combine sugar, butter, and cream. Cook over medium heat until it reaches soft ball stage (236°F).

  2. Remove from heat and stir in sweet chocolate and fondant until the fondant is dissolved.

  3. Add ground walnuts and mix well.

  4. Pour the mixture onto a paper-lined board or slab to cool.
