Ckeam Walnuts

Ingredients

Directions

  1. Roll a piece of cream into a strip about 1 inch in diameter.

  2. Cut into 1-inch pieces and roll each piece into a ball.

  3. Place a walnut half on two opposite sides of each ball.

  4. Arrange them in pans and let them stand for a few hours to crystallize.

  5. Alternatively, form a cone of sifted powdered sugar on a slab.

  6. Hollow out the top and pour in a small amount of pure fruit juice.

  7. Work it into a stiff cream and color it as desired.

  8. Roll out and serve as before, crystallizing if desired.
