Barley Sugar Drops
Ingredients
Directions
Boil sugar until it reaches the desired consistency.
Spread finely powdered loaf sugar on a table or tray.
Use a rounded stick to make holes in the sugar.
Run the boiled sugar into the holes or drop it onto an oiled marble slab, one drop at a time.
Separate each drop with a small knife or wire.
Remove drops from the surface with a knife and mix with powdered loaf sugar.
Sift the drops from the sugar and store in glasses or tin boxes.
