Dried Cherries in Bunches
Ingredients
Directions
Tie the stalks of equal-sized cherries into bunches using iron binding wire.
Boil syrup until it reaches a blow stage.
Submerge the bunches in the syrup, boiling them several times.
Remove from heat and pour into an earthen pan.
The next day, boil the bunches in the syrup again a few times.
Once cooled, drain and dry the bunches on sieves in a moderate heat stove.
