Virgin Stock

Ingredients

Directions

  1. Take some of the paste from your stock yeast and place it in a gallon jar, filling it about halfway.

  2. Make the mixture as thick as a soft sponge.

  3. Cover the jar tightly and place it in a warm location.

  4. Stir the mixture every few hours until it begins to work, raising and falling like a sponge.

  5. It should be ready in about four days.
