Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
In a bowl, mix sugar, eggs, baking soda, and milk. Beat for 1-2 minutes.
Add flour and cream of tartar, and mix thoroughly.
Grease a flat pan and line the bottom with paper. Spread the mixture thinly in the pan.
Bake for 5 minutes.
Once baked, place a piece of paper on a table and sprinkle it with pulverized sugar.
Invert the cake onto the sugared paper, paper side up.
Brush the paper on the cake with water to remove it easily.
Wash and dry the strawberries before placing them on the cake.
Spread charlotte over the top and keep in a cool place.
