Lime-Water

Ingredients

Directions

  1. Break the unslacked lime into small pieces.

  2. Place the lime in a clean quart bottle.

  3. Fill the bottle with rain-water.

  4. Let it stand overnight.

  5. The next morning, use the clear lime-water from the top, leaving the sediment at the bottom.

  6. When the water is used up, refill the bottle with water on the remaining lime and repeat as needed.

  7. Add common salt to assist in digestion.
