Clabbered-Milk

Ingredients

Directions

  1. Pour skimmed milk into a covered glass or china dish.

  2. Let it sit until it becomes smooth, firm, and jelly-like.

  3. Do not let it sit too long to avoid separation of whey from curd.

  4. Chill in the refrigerator for one hour before serving.

  5. Serve from the dish, cut out with a large spoon, and place in saucers.

  6. Top with cream and sprinkle with nutmeg before eating.
