Roast Beef and Potatoes

Ingredients

Directions

The book gives no oven temperature. The 400°F (200°C) in the steps was added when the recipe was transcribed, as a starting point.

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).

  2. Place the sirloin in the oven, timing it according to its size.

  3. One and a half hours before serving, peel the potatoes.

  4. Add the potatoes to the pan around the beef. If large, cut them in half lengthwise.
