  • 1 cup White sugar

Directions

1 Cream together shortening & sugar.

2 Add the rest of the ingredients in order & mix till well combined.

3 Combine sugar & cinnamon & mix.

4 Grease & flour a loaf tin.

5 Divide batter into thirds.

6 Layer one third of the batter in the bottom of the loaf pan.

7 Sprinkle with cinnamon/sugar mixture.

8 Layer with another third of the batter & sprinkle with cinnamon/sugar.

9 Spread out last part of the batter.

10 Slice through the batter at various points with a knife to create the marbled effect.

11 Sprinkle with remaining cinnamon/sugar.

12 Bake at 350f for 1 hour or until the loaf tests done
