Ingredients
- 2 lbs/1 kg sugar,
- 3/4 qt/3/4 l water,
- 2 large quinces

Peel and grate the quinces.

Place immediately in the sugar syrup. Simmer until well thickened.

Remove the pan from heat and cover with a wet and squeezed cloth.

Place in jars when cold.
