Ingredients

  • 8 sweet potatoes
  • 2 cups of chopped pecans
  • 1 cup of brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup of oleo
  • Pinch of salt
  • 1 teaspoon of vanilla

Directions

Bake potatoes at 350 degrees for about one hour; peel, slice and place in a buttered 9 x 13 inch baking dish.

Mix together pecans, brown sugar, oleo, salt and vanilla in a saucepan; bring to a boil and cook for about two to three minutes.

Pour over potatoes and bake at 350 degrees for 10 minutes.
