  • 1 large white onion chopped
  • 1 green pepper, chopped
  • 8 ounces tomato sauce
  • 1-cup water
  • 1-tablespoon chili powder
  • 1/2-teaspoon cayenne pepper

  • 16 ounce kidney beans drained and rinsed

Directions

Heat pressure cooker.

Brown meat, onion, and green pepper.

Add remaining ingredients, except kidney beans.

Close cover securely.

Place pressure regulator on vent pipe.

Cook 5 minutes with pressure regulator rocking slowly.

Let pressure drop of its own accord.
