Ingredients

  • 2 eggs
  • 1 cup milk
  • ¼ tsp salt
  • 1 cup flour
  • 2 to 3 tbsp fat from beef roast or oil

Directions

Stir together flour and salt and milk.

Mix in eggs, beat until batter is bubbly.

Set aside for 30 minutes.

Heat fat or oil in 9 x 9 inch baking dish in oven for 15 minutes.

Pour in batter.

Bake at 450°F until puffed and brown, about ½ hour.
