Ingredients
- 2 large sweet potatoes
- ¼ cup lard
- ⅛ teaspoon salt
- ½ pound wheat flour
- ½ cup milk
- 1 egg
- 2 tablespoons sugar
Directions
Boil sweet potatoes then peel and mash.
Mix in large, salt, milk, egg and sugar and knead in the flour then cut into small pieces and bake in a waffle iron or roll out thin cut into squares and bake in an oven as biscuits.
