Wliites of eleven eggs, three-fourths of a pint of sugar, half a pint of flour, in which put one teaspoonful of cream of tartar; sift flour and cream of tartar together three times. Beat with a wire beater until it will not turn out of the bowl, sift in the sugar, beating all the time, then add the ^^g\ flavor with a teaspoonful of vanilla. Bake forty-five minutes.
