Directions
BROWN NUT BREAD— One and one-half cups graham flour, three-quarters cup wheat flour, one and one-half cups sour milk, one- third cup New Orleans molasses, one-half teaspoon salt, one and one- half teaspoon soda, one-half cup broken walnuts. Mix dry ingredients, add milk to molasses and stir well to a smooth batter, nut meats last. Place in greased bread pan and bake in moderately slow oven one hour.
