Peach Cake

  1. Mrfe Woodworth, Springfield, Mass.

  2. Bake three sheets of sponge cake as for jelly cake;

  3. cut peaches in thin slices ; prepare cream by whipping

  4. and sweetening, adding flavor of vanilla if desired ;

  5. put layers of peaches between the sheets of cake, and

  6. 88 THE BUCKEYE COOK BOOK.

  7. pour the cream over each layer, and over the top. This may also be made with ripe strawberries.
