Cut into odd little spiral twists the skin from A lemons, adding a pinch each of cinnamon, nutmeg, allspice and whole cloves, 1 large cup granulated sugar, a cup of flaked pineapple and 2 sliced oranges. alloAving the fruit puree to stand in a cold place for at least three hours : then turn into a large stone pitcher, pouring in slowly 3 pts. ginger ale and 14 glass blackberry juice from cooked berries; serve while it effervesces in small chilled mugs.
