Ingredients

  • 3 cups candy sugar
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 cup chopped figs
  • 1 cup chopped nuts
  • 2 cups sugar
  • 1 cup cream
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1 cup molasses

Directions

3 cups candy sugar, mixed with 1 cup milk, and cooked until it will form in glass of cold water. Remove from fire and stir into it 1 cup chopped figs, and beat well; then pour into buttered pans and mark into squares.

1 cup chopped nuts; 2 cups sugar;

1 cup cream; i^anilla to flavor.

Boil together wntil it threads; stir in chopped nuts, which have been dipped in melted chocolate. Pour on oiled paper. Cut into squares Press nut on top of each one.
