Directions

6 canned peaches, or fresh ones in their season

Soak tapioca in water for 2 hours ; then add the sugar, salt and the peaches halved or cjuartered, and cook in a moderate oven until the tapioca becomes- transparent and jelly-like and the peaches soft, which will require about IV^ hours, cooking slowlv. Serve with cream. Mrs. T. J. B.
