Wild Cherry Bark Extract
Ingredients
Directions
Crush or bruise the wild cherry bark and place it in a saucepan.
Cover the bark with water and bring it to a boil.
Reduce heat and let it simmer for 1 hour, adding hot water to keep the bark covered.
Allow the mixture to cool, then strain it.
Measure the liquid and add an equal amount of 95% alcohol.
Transfer the mixture to a bottle, add the bark, and store in a dark, cool place for 2 weeks, shaking occasionally.
After 2 weeks, strain and filter the extract.
