Salted Almonds

Ingredients

Directions

The book gives no oven temperature. The 300°F (150°C) in the steps was added when the recipe was transcribed, as a starting point.

  1. Shell and blanch the almonds.

  2. Place the almonds in a pan and dry them in the oven at 300°F (150°C).

  3. Add enough butter to brown the almonds nicely.

  4. Remove from the oven and pan, placing them on clean paper to absorb excess butter.

  5. Sprinkle with coarse sea salt to taste.
