Ingredients

  • 2 cups cornmeal
  • ½ cup flour
  • ½ cup chopped suet
  • 1½ cups sweet milk
  • 3 eggs
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt

In a large bowl, combine cornmeal, flour, chopped suet, sweet milk, eggs, baking powder, and salt.

Mix until well combined.

Pour the mixture into a mold or bag.

Boil for 3 to 4 hours or longer.
