Ingredients

Directions

The book says “a quick oven”. The 400°F (200°C) in the steps is the modern equivalent, not the book's own figure.

  1. Roll the Parker House dough to ½ inch thick.

  2. Spread a thin layer of melted butter and cinnamon over the dough.

  3. Roll the dough up like a jelly roll.

  4. Cut the rolled dough into slices 1 inch thick.

  5. Place the slices on a well-greased pan, 1 inch apart.

  6. Sprinkle the tops with a little powdered sugar.

  7. Let the rolls rise in the pans until they are twice their size.

  8. Bake in a preheated oven at 400°F (200°C) for 15 minutes.
