To Ice or Frost a Wedding or Any Flat Top Cake

Ingredients

Directions

  1. Once the cake is baked and cooled, trim off any rough edges and brush away crumbs.

  2. Prepare a thin layer of icing using ordinary powdered sugar to fill in any hollows.

  3. If you're in a hurry, you can apply just one coat of the finest powdered sugar icing.

  4. If using a first coat, place the cake in a warm area or oven to dry before adding the second coat.
