Fruit Pie
Ingredients
Directions
Line a pie pan with the pie crust.
Fill the crust with sweetened fruit. You may stew the fruit first if desired.
Wet the edges of the pastry.
Cover with the top crust, making a few slits to let out steam.
To prevent juice from overflowing, create a cornucopia from stiff paper, cutting the pointed end off about an inch.
Insert the cornucopia into the slit in the pie to hold the juice while baking.
After baking, remove the cornucopia to allow the juice to return to the pie.
