Ingredients

Directions

  1. In a large bowl, combine flour, yeast, sugar, lard, and salt.

  2. Add cold water in summer or warm water in winter to form a dough.

  3. Knead the dough for at least 15 minutes.

  4. If the dough rises too quickly, gently knead it again without adding flour.

  5. About an hour before baking, shape the dough into rolls, using minimal flour to prevent sticking.

  6. Do not overwork the dough.

  7. In summer, prepare the dough at 11 o'clock; in winter, at 9 o'clock for tea.
