Meringue Tarts

Ingredients

Directions

The book gives no oven temperature. The 350°F (175°C) in the steps was added when the recipe was transcribed, as a starting point.

  1. Prepare a small bottom of confectioner's paste.

  2. Bake in a moderate oven at 350°F (175°C) until half done.

  3. Spread meringue over the partially baked crust.

  4. Add currant jelly in the center.

  5. Brown slightly in the oven.
