Almond Candy

Ingredients

Directions

  1. Boil sugar with a little cream of tartar until it cracks.

  2. Butter a marble slab and place four small bars on it to prevent the sugar from running off.

  3. Pour the candy onto the slab and sprinkle with almonds.

  4. Cover the almonds with more candy as desired.

  5. When nearly cold, cut the candy into long narrow strips.
