Canning Fruit
Ingredients
Directions
Ensure cans and elastics are in perfect condition and that the screw fits properly.
Heat the fruit until boiling hot before sealing.
Place each empty can in a pan on the stove filled with hot water.
Fill the can to overflowing, quickly place the lid on, and screw tightly.
As the contents cool, tighten the screw again to maintain a seal.
Store the sealed jars in a cool, dark, and dry place.
