Strawberry Ice

Ingredients

• 3 pints crushed ripe strawberries
• 1 pint whole strawberries
• 1 pound powdered sugar
• 3 pints water

Directions

1. Wash and crush the ripe strawberries with a silver fork.

2. Cover the crushed strawberries with powdered sugar and let sit in a cool place for 30 minutes.

3. Add 3 pints of water to the fruit mixture.

4. Strain through a fine sieve or cloth.

5. Just before freezing, add the whole strawberries.
