Oyster Fritters

Ingredients

Directions

  1. Drain the oyster liquor and boil it. Skim off any impurities.

  2. In a bowl, combine the boiled liquor, milk, eggs, salt, pepper, and enough flour to create a thick batter.

  3. Heat lard or beef drippings in a skillet until hot.

  4. Using a large spoon, drop spoonfuls of the batter into the hot fat, adding one oyster to each spoonful.
