Baked Fish

Ingredients

Directions

The book gives no oven temperature. The 350°F (175°C) in the steps was added when the recipe was transcribed, as a starting point.

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).

  2. In a bowl, mix breadcrumbs, butter, grated onion, black pepper, salt, and cayenne pepper.

  3. Layer the fish in a baking dish, placing the dressing between layers and on top.

  4. Dot the top with small bits of butter.

  5. Bake until the fish is cooked through.

  6. Serve with sliced lemon.
