Ingredients
- 1 pint milk
- 3 eggs
- 4 heaping teaspoons corn starch
- sugar to taste
- a pinch of salt
- raspberry or strawberry sauce
Directions

Heat the milk in a saucepan.

In a bowl, beat the yolks of 2 eggs and the remaining egg with sugar and corn starch.

Add a pinch of salt and a little cold milk to the egg mixture.

Pour the egg mixture into the boiling milk and cook, stirring until thickened.

Pour the mixture into 6 or 8 flat-bottomed wet cups to cool.

To serve, turn each cup out onto a saucer.

Beat the 2 egg whites until stiff, sweeten and flavor to taste.

Pile the beaten egg whites on top of the cooled mixture and pour raspberry or strawberry sauce around it.
